Btw I'd have a look at the engine mounts yourself. I had Andrew Baird look at them and he said they were fine. The engine had no rocking in it at all so seems strange for the garage to say they're ****ed

Cool cheers man. I'll see if I can get another fob for it and program it.

Well I thought I could see a crack in one of the mounts so I asked them to have a look. To be fair I couldn't rock the engine but I thought since I was getting stuff done a nice new one couldn't hurt.

It's so much fun to drive, I can't believe I've gone without a b series for so long!

I'm thinking about getting an EP3 wheel

I remember that orange s2k going up on driftworks.

was cheap if I remember right.

always had a soft spot for ek9's especially in black.
 
yeah it was fairly cheap, although obviously for a reason since I needed to get a new clutch etc. Its got such a strong nice engine though, I don't really want to get rid.

I need to give the 9 a wash and wax this evening so I'll take some more pictures as well and find out the brake pad type as well.

Finally got the replacement gearbox mount fitted and here's a pick of the offending item :p

Glad I've got rid of that, the engine bay now pretty much as a whole new set of mounts bar one which has made everything feel much tighter.

Yeah man, feels much better now, but I'm on the hunt for some driveshafts now as I can feel a little bit of play in them.
 
Must say, the orange s200 looks great! But nice choice with the ek9 dude
