I recently had my newly bought EK9 rr'd it made 168bhp and 104lb ft of torque, but was apparently way overfuelling on vtec and also very white smoke from the exhaust on vtec.

Now ive pressure tested the system and was fine, and ive not needed to top up the coolant apart from only a tiny amount and just the once.

Any ideas? ive thought cracked head maybe, but i drove this car all the way from preston to plymouth without a problem which im sure i would have found something amiss. Also ive been told that b series head gaskets can be prone to rot? is this true?
As for the overfuelling is there a common fault i can look into? o2 sensors fail? poorly fitted induction kit? (as this car has one).

Cheers,
Dave

if the head was cracked it would overheat.dodgy sensor in the engine causing it to over fuel.possibly knock sensor.

any check engine lights? that will help you figure out the problem

the torque is bang on the money for a stock machine. The headgaskets are not prone to rot.

It would be WISE of you to take it to a good garage who has and can use an exhaust gas analyser then they can give you a better insight into IF theres a problem and give you some more info. Far to many variables.

Much better than asking random people on the internet who have no ability to gauge the problem except for guesses. Go get it checked out and keep on top of maintenance!
