Best tyre size for 16 x 8J

as above.

looking at a set of 16 x 8 et10's for my EK. i want it to look good (stanced) but also handle alright so i'd go for a little stretch.

i know this forum is more swayed towards performance but if anyone has gone for a similar setup then please share what you have (including pics if possible)

i think i'm after wither 195/40/16's or 205/40/16's.

pics will help alot. also any links to sites that do this will help.

thats not going to have any stretch.

pictures on the net show 2015/40's not looking overly stretched on an 8.5J

anyone with any pics?
 
Well if you do the math mate, 8 inch is 203.2 mm so a 205 tyre will sit flush with the wheel givin next to no stretch so 195 would be the next choice. This is purely on my maths by the way and i am terrible at maths.


Just to add, thats could be terribly wrong and utter bulls**t haha

All depends on tyre make aswell though. I bought a set of 7.5" compos with 215/45 toyos on, and they had stretch. I fitted 205/45 federals and the tyre was fitted fine and then scrubbed the rear arch and had to roll them lol.
