Best rated manifold / exhaust for b18


I realised how little all this ex mani crap means when my destroked 1900cc b20 made 237hp on a old DC 4-1. and the only non Honda internal part being its pistons..
 
Toda manifold without a doubt.

I have one on mine, I love it and instantly felt a difference.

Exhaust wise:

Spoon N1 without a doubt too,

Subtle, awesome in VTEC and Spoon know a thing or two about making power.
 
Just removed the Toda from my DC2, I went from full toda system to toda mani and Tanabe exh (notice a bit of top end power loss) then swapped the toda mani for a '98 spec DC2 one (very noticable loss of midrange and a bit of top end gone). Full Toda setup was awesome but a bit lairy (think angry spoon N1 with an asbo! louder with a more aggressive tone)
 
TODA has proven better than 98spec 4-1 In a few tests. The difference is around 7bhp on a 98spec engine.
 
If you have deep pockets, a custom Hytech is what you want.
