Best place to mount oil gauge sensors?

To install temperature and pressure sensor...

With brass T on oem place of oil pressure sensor?

or

With sandwich plate?

I read in some brands that pressure sensor its not recommended to install direct on engine block in revving engine to not damage sensor and not give wrong reading. Is that true?

Go with a sandwich plate, T pieces are liable to snapping

I'd weld a boss onto your sump for the temp sender, that's how I have mine.

Mounting it directly to a sandwich plate will just give you the temp of the block once it's warm.
