Best oil to start with a fresh rebuilt engine?

Hi guyz whats ur opinion on the oils on a fresh b series rebuilt engine with a little bit higher compression than the stock.

Some says that its not good to use Full Synthetic oils on a fresh rebuilt engine
Some other says that some brands of oils are not good for the engine
Some other that Semi synthetic is better for vtec engines

whats ur opinions ? And what brands are u using on Vtec engines especially those that have some extra stuff inside the engine like pistons highcompression, valves flat for compression...

For run in on my fully built b18c my car wasn't mapped so while the mapper was putting run in map on I had mineral oil in it, after he set map I dumped out that oil and put in fresh mineral oil and after 100 miles that's dumped out and onto semi synethic!! After 200 miles change it again for same semi and after 300 do same until I've done 800-1k miles then put in your fully synethic and get it mapped
