banzai crail 25th april


Well yesterday was a pretty shite start, arried at about half 9 with john and the weather wasn't looking good, by about 10 (and when the ambulance finally arrived) the track opened and it started to piss down :angry: But by the afternoon the weather totally changed and it was a great day with more and more cars arriving some quick times done.

Unfortunetly some twat reversed into john's bumper but luckily not damaging the bonnet, oh and a few spilt chips as well mr wilkie?? haha

Overall not a bad day met a couple folk and some nice motors, yellow s2k and the champ white ek9 with blue rega's :bow:

dont think anyone will want to man was to wet lol although it did dry up... sort of :p and i managed a 15.4 which is pretty average could of done a lot better although only managed 3 runs by the time the weather sorted itself out :((

oh and yeah you should defo build another monster haribo, last one was bananas, still have nightmares when you took me that blast up johns bit lol
 
ive not been impressed with the times that fwd cars have been running for a while. iir a few years back 4 or 5, you needed a 12sec car to get into the finals, you would think that the times would come down rather going in the other direction :(

my quickest time was 13.1 in a n/a fwd & thats going back 6 years!
 
I could have shot the weatherman on my way down there, but it did turn out to be a decent day and was great once the strip dried out. Got a 17.9 in my ej9, just what i expected. My mate's got an ep2 and i thought he would easily beat me. I raced him three times and beat him three times! :clap: I've got a video that i'll post when i get the chance of Gavs yellow ek9 against a red ek, not sure what kind.

Ah sweet get it up lol, was a vti guy said it was stock but clocked a big set of willwood calipers so who knows :D

and well inpressed with the convoy going threw my village (colinsburgh) all monster unit team gave me the wave when the passed threw looked awsome and sounded amazing the amount of cars at once the old folk were hating it lol lovin it:)

we were getting some dodgy stares from locals in all the villages, lol we were all behaved, tried to keep noise to a minimum.......maybe thats why they were all ogling at us, lol
 
not me i was wunting noise the integra was loud going out like so which cars yours??
 
Was rubbish at the start but when the sun came out :clap:

good pictures there:nice: thats crap about the accident, hope it gets sorted quickly and free of charge.

a few nice ek's and the jordan with the slips was tight.

ahh that bloody integra, lol yeah thats loud as feck due to a kakimoto exhaust, lol

the s2000 is mine, my mate was driving it for me though
 
cheers boss he got done by a few car lenths anyway :p

and thought that green ek was lum wasnt sure though. Would of been better if we were all parked up together everyone was dotted all over the place... part from the monsters obviously :D
