Ball Joints


Cool I'll give that a check aswell, thanks again! My noise is definitely from the drivers side, wonder if the noise could originate from the passenger side and then travel through the shafts to the drivers side hub?
 
I ordered a driver side shaft last night and gonna fit a new ball joint at the same time, will let you guys know if it works!
 
Also we checked my half shaft last night, there was a bit of side to side play in it, and a very small amount of up and down play. Do you guys reckon that would have anything to do with it or would that just make a wheel bearing like noise?

New shaft and ball joint fixed it for Steve, didn't help me. Fitting a new steering rack in a couple of weeks to hopefully resolve it!
 
If the driveshaft isn't fully seated to the hub, you will get a clicking/clunk noise on start/stop as they make contact.
