Regretably it may be time to sell my 2000 Facelift EK9 Rx due to recently moving house. I'm now within walking distance of my workplace and the car is getting driven less and less.
Its a year 2000 EK9 RX model in excellent condition inside and out that I have now owned for over 2 years after purchasing from a member on EK9.org. It was originally bought from FastJapCars as a fresh import so I am the second owner. The original for sale thread can be found below and I'd like to add that I paid asking price as this car was absolutely immaculate and owned by somebody who really put 100% into modifying and maintaining
such a great example of an EK9.

I sold my Kpro'd 251bhp DC5 for this car and bought the car with approx 75k miles on it. This is the second EK9 I have owned. I went through (for me) the usual breather mods along with an s300 Ecu and map on the then standard B16B engine all work being done by Race Dyno Tuning in Doncaster.
A few months passed and I did plenty of research on engine swaps and decided on the B20 Vtec route as it was probably the most economical way for more power/torque and staying N/A. All work and servicing has been done by Endless Horizon Motorsport and Daz there who has probably the best reputation for his B20 Engine Builds as he has built so many over the years.
Having waited patiently for the engine build and after the run in period the final Dyno tune yielded a healthy 222BHP and the car was really transformed I remember even Daz himself being quite suprised at the power this engine made.It is run on 97 octane fuel as this is what it was mapped with and it still made good power with the Spoon 2.5" exhaust. I was told with a custom 3" exhaust and a remap I would probably be looking at 230bhp.
I have been driving on the new engine for 14 months now and it has been faultless..
For those that say B20's don't rev I can happily rev to 8200rpm without issue but there really is no need to as there's so much power and torque without having to bounce off the limiter. With the engine being a new build there is absolutely no smoke in/out of vtec.
This car has a clean interior, is never smoked in, has no damage to either recaro seat, no rust, no dents and has been undersealed with waxoil. There are minor stone chips here and there but these are mainly on the front bumper as would be expected. The spec list is big and I've spent a small fortune building and maintaining the car.
Although fully insured for the engine swap and all modifications the log book still states the engine is a 1.6 litre as the tax class was unchanged moving from 1.6 to 2.0 litre for this vehicle so I never bothered declaring it.
I have two folders of history and receipts and and a detailed timeline excel spreadsheet of everything done to the car.
Currently there are
6 months mot left
12 months tax left
I'm pricing the car at £7,250 which is fair as the car is a 2000 Rx in exceptional condition.
I am happy to let the car go with private plate if the buyer wants and will consider px but would prefer a cash sale.
The car will not be broken and I will not be seeling any parts separately so please don't ask.
