B18CR or Honda S2k

Basically i have over £3k to either ...

B18CR my ek9

or

sell ek9 and buy a S2k for 8-9k. (Which looks like it will be a pre-facelift)

Ive never driven an s2k before but really like the looks of them. Anyone who has driven one or the other or both bless me with opinions.

I have owned both.

S2000 is a better car all round.

To me though owning a civic is not just about the driving, its about building the car, scouting for parts, looking at endless pics on forums, basically its about being a geek haha. Now its way easier to geek out with civics and built bseries etc than it is S2000 cos the owners club forum is terrible, they hate mods, hate young guys who are more ballin than them and generally are crap.

Also any mod for an S2000 is 800 pounds give or take.

Go and drive an S2000, dont decide without doing that.

EDIT: also dude you could b18c your ek9 for like 1k.

Yeah im a mechanic so i like doing it all myself and always wanted to do a half decent build. Ive spent 3-4k on the civic already. If i do b18 my ek9 i would get it all mapped and done properly anyway. I will definatly test drive one, gutted i cant afford a s2k GT though, much better looking.

I agree with the above, never had an ek9, but have a b18c4 ek hatch now and had s2000, Dc2, b18cr eg hatch etc previously... I like building the cars, so civics appeal to me more for the reasons mentioned above, when I can afford it, I'll have an s2000 daily and my civics or weekend.

i've not regretted selling my evo 6 for the s2, as i do enjoy it although it is nothing speed wise to a Evo....
