okay, been looking about the engine section here for a while...

getting a b18c4 engine to put into my ej9 within the next month, and i'm basically wanting to know what...

1) cams/pistons/rods etc i will need to get to around 200hp (FLYWHEEL)

2) best manifold to use for more power, was thinking standard ITR mani, or would it be similar to the standard MB6 manifold??

any answers/feedback would be great, cheers!!

:thanks:

Dont mean to intrude on this question but if your planning on doing a conversion and your looking to hit 200bhp would you not just look for a jdm b18c from a dc2? This would make things a lot easier for you!

the price i'm getting the b18c4 for is why im buying it... low miles too

if i had the money for a b18cr i wouldnt have put this thread up! lol

Ah i see didnt mean to be rude was just genuinely wondering! Good luck the the project :))

no problem at all my man, just looking for the best advice on internals..

im sure a few on the site are running b18c4's??

my list was going to be

skunk2 inlet manifold
AEM v2 intake
DC2 cams and spring retainers
421 exhaust manifold
a decat exhaust
a good dyno tune, should hopefully be looking at a good 190 ish i hope :)

but.. that was looking more expensive than i thought so am going stock b18c4 instead of trying to squeeze 200 out of it

Great CAI, Programmable ECU and good headers and exhaust and you should be almost there.

you will need to get specific inlet manifold for B18C4 as the manifold from ITR or B16 wont fit, Funky Power sell skunk2 manifolds for the C4. but get rid of standard mani as its restrictive

but a would say, inlet manifold, induction kit, type-r cams, 4-2-1 manifold, decat, full exhaust and maybe a remap, will get u 200bhp at fly

b20 jordie saan!! plus u have the money for a b18c6 your just too miserable with it!lol
