b18c type r rods max rpm?

Hi basically what is the safe rev limit I can go to on the type R rods from a b18??
There at the machine shop at the moment to get shot peening and have some new pistons fitted,
Just so I can get a rough Idea on which cams i could go for valve springs etc

What sort of build are you going for? The rods would be quite strong capable of close to 10k rpm but a stock valvetrain wouldn't be up for that sort of revs.

as far as i know the type r rods are fine for a higher than stock rpm limit but above 9k rpm you are risking sending a piston through something, mileage and setup dependant!

its a fresh build done the head last month with itr valves, valve springs and retainers but will be getting another later down the line
I've got b18c4 bottom end with a lightened crank, fully balanced bottom end
Using b16b .5mm oversized pistons
It already has acl bearings in from last time,
I just want a really broad power band
