B18c Kanjo fast road EG4 project, rare parts build..........

Nice projects!

I use to have some Desmond regamasters - awesomely light wheels! Changed them for my Volks TE37's :)

I have a Toda flywheel in one of my Hondas too, it made a nice difference!

Be good to see the parts from Japan - if your contact over there can get his hands on any mk2 crx parts then let me know buddy!

Looks like this could be a very interesting build. Love your spirit when it come to sourcing parts. Good on you!

Will defo be keeping an eye on this thread.

PM'd you dude.

:nice:

If you're the same EG6 Flex that's on Civiclife and was on CRX-UK I think we've spoken in the past :nice:

Will keep my eye out mate, CRX stuff is getting rare everywhere now though!

Thanks mate, I promise it'll be pretty unique once it's all together! :nice:

It'll get better and better as the engine is only just an "introductory" engine if you see what I mean, have big plans for the future!

Some updates.............

Have had quite a few parts delivered recently, haven't taken pics of everything and now my memory card (SD card) in my camera decided to split in half....YAY, so it's now hard to take pics of everything.....plus I no longer have a phone to do it on as I managed to throw my samsung into Apple Juice, which surprisingly it didn't like. .....so every time I want pics now, I have to wait for the missus to come home from work to use her bloody IPhone. Poo.

So, basically have been ordering like there's no tomorrow..... I had a slight issue with a DC2 airbox I bought, not really the sellers fault but wasn't in the condition I read it to be in, so that's since been sold and another mint one was bought off Jason Day..... Super chuffed with this.

Will do nicely with my ARC intake elbow I bought!

I have had my rare JDM Border Racing/Vision Kevlar fixed back seat delivered, this is as rare as rocking horse poo, gotta laugh at the guy that had it before my mate Malcolm that I had it off..... he's bodged the side mounts to the lowered rail good and proper! So that needs sorting..... its an absolute death trap as it is! I would rather ride on the back of a great white shark I think!

Any way, here's some other bits that have turned up..........

Custom made, motorsports grade Carbon Kevlar panel...1 of MANY yet to come.....There are big plans for stuff in Kevlar, moulds will be made soon and custom parts made eventually once my contact has things sorted.

Will be using for all sorts of things. Told you this build would be a bit "different".........

And I've wanted one of these for YEARS a nice Sparco alcantara/suede steering wheel I picked up for an absolute bargain! Think I paid like £25-£30 for it or some thing. These are bloody hard to get now in blue or alcantara/suede full stop!!

This will be be for track use/fast road. Daily steering wheel will be one of the MOMO ones I have. It'll be kept ready on a snap off boss bracket permanently. I have a EPIC rare Work Emotion steering wheel which will be for pics...etc I won't use it though cost me near £300 bloody quid :p lol

Needs a clean so need to order some suede cleaner. Barely worn at all, just a little dirty in places.

.... just need the Snap off boss now, which I promise will be pretty special as well. Could just buy a Sparco/MOMO/NRG item..... but noooo, if it can be JDM and rare, then you know me by now..... :p ;)

Liking the Sparco wheel man, I'm pretty sure Dylan from FF Squad had/has one of these in his Gold EG. Looks cool.

Lets see the works wheel then! Love the blue suede sparco's always remind me of watching jdm tuned cars on hot version dvd's.

They're bloody hard to get I must say! When it came up I was like.... 'you little git' - this side of Christmas too, but thought I am unlikely to see another soon so thought I'd better grab it! haha

Thanks very much mate! Appreciated!

OK well Spoon coolant is basically ready mixed, however you can mix with Distilled water/De-ionized water I'm sure to make it cheaper...... but that may alter its cooling properties I'm sure.

I get these at Trade discount now.

Can get them for anyone if you wanted. Unsure how many does an engine yet once I know, will be able to advise. :nice:

..... also its bloody AWESOME as its literally LUMINOUS yellow/green!!! :woot:
