B18 Turbo EK Hatch.

Pick this up in a few weeks, gonna reshell mine into it. :)

Will be adding a cage and a few other bits to keep the weight down.

Cheers mate, been toying with the idea for a while, as my shell isnt great... I only bought the car for the parts it had on it really, the winter weather has brought back the rot on the rear arches which had already been done before... its a losing battle trying to sort it, so a good shell is the only way....

Plans before the big swap over -

Some extra strengthening to the shell.
6 point cage with gussets.
Cf hatch.
Poly rear screen and rear side windows.
Fuel cell.
Gutted dash.
P/S removal.

I hope to be between 900 - 950kg. This will then become my track/weekend car and I will use my EE9 daily. :D

I may even run a little more boost....

Went to Big Breakfast meet today then on to York Raceway... it was soooo busy, only got 2 runs in... struggling with boost cut issues meaning I had to short shift but still hit the the cut at the top of 4th, so rolled across the line to a 13.4 @ 109mph with a 2.4 60ft... LOL but for my 1st run in this car, it could be worse....

Cheers dude, alot was already done when I got the car but you know how it is... stuffs never finished! :D

Yeah I'd like to change my mani cos this one boost creeps like a good un :(

Good find mate! Wouldn't mind a set of forged wheels, light and extra strong! They standard on an R32 gtr?

Nice one, cheers for the heads up. Did they fit under the arches fine with out any arch modification or spacers? Nice build btw man!

No spacers, but obviuosly you need 5 stud conversion and had to roll lips of arches... rears may require abit more work, not attempted mine yet...

Finally got round to fitting my manual windows and EK9 door cards.

I've also swapped out my Recaros for fixed buckets with a buddyclub rail on driver side and made passanger side one myself.

Fitted a gen Ek9 wing today and 225 45 16 A048's fitted, which needed the front arches flaring.

Very nice combination with the wheels and body color. Never before seen a set of them cusco door bars. Nice little addition, but i think they'd look far better in mine:drool: Keep up the good work :drive:
