standard c6 rods are thicker than c4 but are the same fitment.
if your going after market it wont matter.

reason im asking is because im rebuilding a b18c6 bottom end and one of the rods is damaged,But I have 4 new c4 rods there,Im wondering would it be ok to use one of the c4's with the other 3 c6s, Or will i need another c6?? As they are the same when we measured them. Thanks

I would say definatly no!

Yes same fitment but it would throw out the balance of the engine quite a bit and end up destroying the bottom end with too much vibration.

A set of all C4 rods would be much better.

Rods are in sets matched together and balanced together. Well should be anyway. Any SET of b18c rods will fit any B18c but you can't mix. Imagine having 2 pairs of shoes in size 8, one trainers the other steel toes. Put one of each on alternate feet and try running down the road lol. Your legs won't like it at all. haha. Now imagine your crank doing that at 8000+rpm!!!

Is the engine for yourself, to sell or for somebody else?

Was thinking that would be the answer mate thanks!!
the engine is for myself,Looks like i will have to use the c4 rods or see if i can source another set of c6 rods.

I think the end of the rod near the piston is slightly different too so you might need to modify the rod for the type r piston to fit.

Can get ek9 b16b rods also,Does anyone know if they would fit?? Again any advice is great cheers
