Hy again guys recently made a post about the above problem and though i had fixed it by replacing the ignitor in the distributor but still the problem remains.

When im in say third and start lightly accelerating up a slight incline or even flat sometimes get to around 2000 rpm and it sort of hesitates like im easing off an on the throttle when my foot is still not all the time and only really when it warms up a little.

ive swapped the ignitor, coil, rotor arm, cap,ht leads, fuel filter map sensor and replaced the plugs 800 miles ago but the problem has been there since i first got the ek4 but more noticable now.

The ignition timing is spot on factory spec and i done the timing belt within last 1000 miles and its timed up perfectly ive inspected the main relay and it works as expected when ignition on what not, no obvious cracks in any solder joints however one of the coils on the relay was a different colour to the other ill take a pic for you to see what you think cheers guys!!!!!

here is the main relay i have just re soldered all the joints i cant see this being the problem as it runs fine in vtec and only hesistaes at a certain rpm/throttle opening

you really think? it now you mention it sometimes when i let off the idle dies right down then rises back to where it should be i have the throttle body off now now for cleaning next is the iacv thanks mate ill keep you posted!

right throttle body and iacv cleaned thoroughly! gauze in iacv wasn't as bad as i was expecting how ever there is alot of black oil residue in the inlet manifold i wonder if this has blocked the port for the iacv damn crank case ventilation! i shall report back once test driven cheers again mate!

Still hesitating after all the above and a fresh oil change with a flush it seems more of a light missfire at 2-3k revs only then it clears after 3k and is fine it's driving me nuts ;(
