B16a with C4 head?

My head hurts after reading the first page:wtf2:
X2

There is nothing wrong with the C4 head. In fact, if anything the C4 head is the superior B-series head. Flow wise there is nothing between them. The C4 head also has "quench" pads unlike the B16 head which is a bonus.

AFIK the C4 head also has double valve springs on inlet and exaust unlike the B16A head only has them on one side??

Goes well with a minor skim and CTR,ITR cams.....

Chatted with Tom at portflow and the guys at endyn about this on more than one occasion, what you gain from one you lose with the other. Theres no doubt the b16 heads flow more but has said above the gsr heads have quench pads, yada yada yada. Who gives a **** in the real world, most of us would never know the diffrence between either or know how it would effect how the engine makes power etc.

Lol that 1st page...I do like reading his posts they turn my boredom into a right little chuckle

Correct^^^^ but the map on the ecu is more aggresive to the c4 engine

I thought if you had a b18 put the b16 head on it for better flows.
But not b16 with a b18 head on it
