B16 temperature???

hey i have a EK4 with a B16 and my temp gauge displays close to half, usually hondas are closer to the cold side.
car does not overheat but when connected to neptune software the ECT reads steady at
93 degrees celcius or 199 farenheight.

Is that normal??

On my B16a it runs a steady 83 degrees while driving and my fan cuts in at 93 degrees.

Thats with an aluminium rad and few other little cooling pieces.
 
on my test print out it said the oil temp was 83degrees idling. fan should have cut in by 93. very close to boiling.
 
Yes very normal, if your engines standard. The stat will be fully open at 90c, starts to open 76c - 80c. Cooling fan can come on anywhere between 91c and 95c, if your driving hard then you should get sufficient cooling for the temps to be lower, i would'nt want to see above 95c under load.

My car runs 82c solid, but has Mugen low temp stat and different rad. Stat is fully open at 68, fan comes on at 85c, it is a B18 though and tuned.

You can over cool the B series, and thats not good.
