Hi

I have and issue with my car where i experince bad vibration on acceleration with my car.
I have been told that it's the differential bearings. But i Am of teh opnion that it's the right hand side inner CV joint. My gearbox is quiet without any humming sounds or anything strange.

I have the opportunity to buy new OEM shafts, but need some assistance / guidance as to whether the shafts will fit. I tried serching fpr pics and threads relating to identification marks, etc, but could not come up with anything.

The shafts I can get have red marking / lines on them. If i recall correctly, mine have blue.

Can anyone assist in guiding me as to what the different colours mean?

You don't need to worry about the orange or blue markings, just check fitment and condition.

So it seems that the colour difference does play a role. As from the pics the 'new' LHS shaft is about 25mm longer than the one in my car...

remember there is play in the joints, the old shafts have been fitted and compressed compared to the new ones

Its was a HUGE misson to get the shaft into the hub. i was just concerned about putting later force on the lower ball joint, so i deceide to put the old shaft back.

I have a spare set I don't need if you want to buy them?
Pm me if your interested

Thanks for the offer, but I'm at the southern most tip of Africa. Shipping will kill me.

Oh **** yeah. Sorry didn't see your location.

Ive just bought some new uprated driveshafts from h-tune and now the car vibrates really bad under acceleration any1 know what this is ??? It never did this be4 now it does it under load really bad ??

Most likely the shafts are unbalanced faulty. Send them back and ask for a replacement set
