well lads,
was wondering if someone could show me with a picture all the possible points where i can put axle stands under an ek4? just want to be sure :) :thanks:

I don't have a picture but the jacking points are pretty clear to see. If you look under the sideskirts/sills there's 4 jacking points (2 each side), each one look like a small metal bar about 4 inches long. They stick out so you can't really miss them.

Oh sorry lol, you can put the axle stands under the jacking points.

The bracket that holds the wishbone compliance bushing to the subframe , you can put it under there there

hi, is the wishbone the same as a lower control arm?sorry, useless when it comes to this stuff. i was putting the axle stands under the lower control arm, pushed them right up beside the wheel?

Yeah wishbone / lower control arm same thing really. You can put it under there near the ball joint or where the fork mounts to it , only thing is placing them there compresses the suspension .

If you can find the bracket where it clamps the big bush on the wishbone , beside the anti roll bar , that is a better area.

Cant find a decent pic to show you
