Well I'm currently on holiday in Ferragudo, Portugal and on Saturday there I got the chance to go to a track day with a friend I know over here. Went to a newly built track just outside portimao only 20min away, the track was built for the intention of F1 coming here, but something happened and it never happened.

It's such a shame because it is an outstanding track, with big elevation changes for a circuit.

After having a wonder round with the girlfriend my mate said I could get a passenger ride in his friends Radical SR3, well that was an experience! Fooking loved it!

Then I thought it couldn't get any better when I heard these 2 beasts fire up from down the pit lane!

2 NASCAR's owned by Brendan Lynch, father of the drifter Shayne Lynch. And luckily for me my mate knows him. So managed to get a passenger ride in that too! Was fooking awesome! The noise from this was unbelievable! The cars have been set up for track and were still testing them that day. So lucky me got 3 laps in this and couldn't stop smiling

Spoke to him after it and he reckoned we were doin 180mph down the back straight! Loved it!

Pics of cars also there as well, wee EG civic was going well too, was smoking an S3 that was there!

Awesome track mate, too bad the owner has debt issues or something and there are only a couple trackdays per year...

Looks brilliant. I saw all the signage for the track last time I was there!
