hey fellow type r owners,
just a fairly simple question for you,
does anyone have a baby or kids, and use a ek9 as an everyday car.i have a ep3 and a 5months old and dont have to much problem with carting her about with pram etc etc,now that she has got a front fracing kiddy seat,i am thinking of getting an ek9 as i like the rawness and the looks are subline but do you think an ek9 would prove to impracticle???
any replys or comments would be appriciated
thanks
james

You would have to disable the front passenger air bag if you want her to be in the front, which you probably already know. The suspension might be stiffer than your EP3, as well as louder.

i know a fella who was selling his ek9 for that reason, the hassle of getting his child in and out..... but personally i don't see the big problem about it, aslong as it's not decked on coilovers, the ride quality is great

the noise wouldnt be to much of a problem i
have blueflame system on the ctr not to loudest but as soon as she gets in the car 30seconds later she is asleep lol.
we have to seat in the back of the car and now it stays there instead taking it out all of the witch was a pain in the arse i will say that.

ive had a 3yr old and 8month year old in the back of mine, its floored on bc coilovers, b18c full of mods (so plenty of noise) boot full of kids stuff including a mahossive pram and had no problems :) get a 9 bought

you'll be the best guardian to turn up on the school run ;)

i found mine fine except for rubbing things off the back of the seats and boot not great for big buggys.

i had an ek9 last year for only 2 months and had to sell over this reason, way to hard on the road especially on coilovers in saying that my 2 year old daughter loved the bumps on the road ha, id stick to the ep3 if i was you do, when i have a good bit of cash to spend il be looking into buying an ep3, drove my mates one and they are an unreal car to drive...
