Yes it was for sale on here. Then a trader brought it and sold it for 7k, then this guy brought it and only had it a few weeks.
 
Seen this advertised on my searches. Looks clean enough. Not sure I'd pay the 6450 he's after tho.

okie doke thanks guys, was hoping it was a members at one point.. yeah it does look clean and i think i prefer the pre-facelifts as well. should i worry about the history even though it's only been in the country 2 years? As he states he has the import docs so is there anything else to worry about? many thanks.
 
It was me that advertised that car on here a while back for a friend. Was up for £5600. Its a good car, the rear quarter panel was damaged when a neighbour hit it, but the insurance company fixed it to a very high standard, you cant even tell it was ever damaged. Was well taken care of. Only reason for sale was because the owner had bought a 350z.

thanks for this information!! was it ever cat recorded?

it does look like it's been looked after, do you know exatcly what has been done to it at all? All the guy knows is that it has a buddy club spec 3 exhaust . cheers again guys!!
 
I'd take a copy of this thread with you as proof it's been in a minor accident then use that as a bargin tool

i'm going to bring it up don't worry haha, i'm px'ing it for my mk5 golf so I may ask for a bit more cash..

I have just reg checked it and it isn't cat recorded so i'm still going to go ahead and get it! It does look like a nice example so as long as it all runs ok and looks straight then i'll go for it :nerv: actually excited! iv'e wanted one since i passed my test 6 years ago!

have you had one before? i can see why people buy them and keep coming back.. my previous car was an e90 325 msport bmw then to my mk5 golf tdi so i can see this is going to be a totally different experience! i'm looking to do some track days this year in the south west so i'm genuinely looking forward to ownership!!
 
I haven't personally, but my mate has had one for a good 3 years and we've been on track loads with it.
I plan on a lot of track time too, plus a ring trip.
 
Yeah, pretty sure its not Cat recorded dude! Erm, exhaust is all i can think of. Sounds good in vtec :p The bumper was damaged when my friend had it, but that looks like its been fixed. Here's a few pics from stolen from his facebook haha

do you know what coilovers it has by any chance?
also thinking of doing a bit of cosmetic enhancements to thee car..
i'm thinking of doing the wheels black, carbon front spoon lip, carbon boot, spoon n1 then maybe under the bonnet re do all the pink cack it has haha
 
Its Skunk 2 coilovers man. And teh exhaust is a custom jobbie. Do the wheels bronze :p And yeah, i hate the pink bits haha.

i seen the pink and automatically thought oh god.. gonna hammerite them for the minute and get a carbon plug cover
 
Would look good man! The old owner is known by a few of us on the site, pretty sure everyone will happily vouch for the car.
