Anyone got or had carbon boot?

Hi people!!
Am thinking of getting a carbon boot, but wondered if you can still use the boot struts?!
What are they like strength wise too? As in for opening closing etc.

Any help be ideal!!thanks,

Hi I had one before was a nightmare you can still use the struts but mine was off the car quite a wile and must have got out of shape but other than that it looked good and is quite rare..
 
Ah ok!!
Well yea lookin at one an got bonnet spoiler an mirrors so think may be nice to add!!
Still bit unsure tho!!
 
if you have the money to spend on a worthwhile one go for it...

by worthwhile I mean dry carbon:nice:

if its purely for aesthetics though i would be inclined to say spend it elsewhere like on a bush refresh or lightweight wheels
 
I was think for looks an weight but unfortunately it sold the day I offered him money :(
