I'm asking this question as I'm looking somebody honest to buy me an ECU and post it to me as I have found one advertised for sale and I get the idea that the seller is a scammer with very poor English. I asked for pictures and he sent me pictures of a different ECU to the one advertised.He would rather bank transfer instead of paypal and basically his 'selling technique' just gives off a bad smell!

If I can get a number for him I would appreciate somebody on here, local to him to pick it up and send it to me, fuel money will be included ;) If anybody is interested in helping me please drop me a PM :)
 
Avoid at all costs, unless you can trust the person never ever send any money via bank transfer. You have absolutely no come back. Trust me i learn't the hard way. :nono:

I know man. Its either paypal or collect in person. I am quite sceptical about this to be honest, and unless he's willing to go with either of my methods I'm gonna jut have to avoid him! :(
 
Speak to 7readie7 or something like that, had a reg eg fs on here a few weeks ago. he's from Norfolk seems like a top bloke.

I got 7Readie7 Mob No. i will ask if he minds me posting his number up first. I am also in Norwich, Norfolk but would stay well away if you think the sellers dodgy? is it a user on this forum?
 
Ok, so I have been reassured by the seller that he is legit. Now am I 100% safe paying paypal. If the worst case scenario did happen can I get a full refund from paypal without much hassle?
