check out evans tuning on youtube or their homepage. has great vids on anything.

Your synchro's are only part of the problem. You will almost definately need the 3rd/4th and 5th/reverse hub rings and sleeves as well!
Splitting a box is easy.
The hard part is making sure that everything is spot on putting it back together.
If its your firswt time doing it, take plenty of pictures and I would also have a mate there as well if I were you.

This months Honda Tuning has a teardown and rebuild of a Spoon tranny.
Haynes has recently put all of their manuals online! $20 a month or $30 for life!

And, my personal favorite, go to a junkyard, pull tranny, break apart, rebuild it, wash rinse repeat.

Nobody really post DIY How To's on the gearbox because most people just leave it to the professionals. My advice to you is don't rebuild your first tranny for your car! You will mess up! Practice, practice, practice. Its the only way too learn.

if your a mechanic and competent in your own ability then go for it!

thats the thread i used along with others to remove and change my FD.

One bit of advise i can give is to take your time, set the pieces out in order that you took them off the shaft, take loads of pictures, dont panic when you come to dificulties O and buy yourself a bearing puller, unless you've got forearms like popeye!

this should give you a very brief insight into what your undertaking!
