another new member from ireland

hi im new here from co.waterford in the south of ireland,just after buying my first honda,and loving it,its the 2nd car ive ever owned and its an ek9 civic in champ white,the car has a good bit of spec on it its running a standard ecu but i got a apexi power fc with the car,that ill proably sell and just get something like a spoon ecu, ill be getting pics up shortly,just thought id say hi first haha :nice:

why u think i should keep the power fc? i know i could get it mapped but i dont think theyd get that much power from a near standard engine just with a few bolt ons would they??

so with spoon it a set map, so chances of having the right set up to max the map on it is unlikly , having a remappable like fc , it can be mapped to your engine and your mods, should you get more after it can be mapped again , this will get the max from your engine and your upgrades , plus with pre mapped such as spoon etc the vtec point is already set , this maynot be the best vtec point for your car have alook at vtec6000 post (in teh link below)for more info on vtec point
