Aftermarket wheel?

Obviously an airbag is going to cause damage to you, it's an explosion in your face.
Umm its a safety device, its supposed to reduce the injuries you sustain, not increase them. My point is for a lot of people this is not the case.

If you have harnesses in then yes it probably won't make much difference especially if you are tall, but they again, why would you have harnesses in your daily? If you have regular 3 point seat belts like any sensible person would have in their daily then you will still be propelled forward towards the wheel in a front end crash.
Who said anything about having airbags and harnesses? My point about harnesses was fitted to folding seats from the rear seat squab anchors as I've seen done many times on forums is very unsafe in a crash, I was hoping to find the crash test vid to demonstrate this as its quite interesting. If you have regular 3 point harnesses and you are of average height, build and driving position AND happen to have a direct head on crash then your airbag might help you, otherwise they are a bit crap.

An airbag to the face in a crash will cause serious damage but you might just be lucky enough to be hanging on to your life by a thread because of it. That's all they are designed to do, save your life, not make sure that you still have a pretty face afterwards.
Having looked at a lot of research into the matter I'd rather take my chances without thanks ;)

And as in the case of your sister, that's her own fault really.
Not really sure how you work that out, she was hit head on by a transit van that came round a corner on the wrong side of the road (driver had forgotten which side of the road we drive on :angry2:).

Anyway... we digress!

To the OP yes your daily needs a better wheel, the OEM EK4 wheel is particularly ugly. pick one you like and don't get hung up on having an airbag!

Clueless. Do you also buy into conspiracy theories...

It's to save your life.... Say you are rushed to hospital, heart has stopped beating and you have damage to your back that if not sorted ASAP will result in you being paralysed. The doctors won't going to give a **** about your back until they have sorted your heart out. It's just like that, an airbag doesn't give a **** if it breaks your nose or fractures your skull, you are still alive, it's served a purpose.

As for research, you can find any answer you want to a question on the internet. I don't really care what you do, or what anyone does, I would just advise what is best for the circumstances.
