Advice on ek9 LSD fitment

I apologise firstly because i know these thread may come up a lot, I have searched not found the exact answer to what I want to know or that I don't understand some of the things i'm reading, lol.

My question is, will an ek9 LSD unit fit straight into my ek4 S4C gearbox?

no.... the only way it would fit is if you used the EK9's final drive which is a different size although the same 4.400 ratio.

A good time to upgrade to a 4.9 final perhaps?
