AD08 with AD08R

Hey guys.

My question is.
I have two sets of AD08s for the rear of the S but non for the front.
I'm struggling to find and suitable sizes.
Do people think there is enough of change in the new tyres to cause unbalance or are they quite similar?

Track car or only road? I doubt there will be a huge difference between the too at road temperatures, once hot however I think the new R will have a fair but more grip. I'd rather them on the back of an s2000 if it was me.
 
Bit of both. Guess ill either have to find some one selling some or just buy the Rs and try it out. With the wing at the back ill have a fair bit of rear end grip anyway.
 
How much of a stagger are you running? If its standard couldn't you just run a little bit of stretch on the front?
 
It would be the opposite problem. It would be 225s on 6.5 wheels. Way to wide for the wheels. I guess I can just try the Rs and if there's is a big difference they I will just have to have some side ways action untill I can afford new rears.
 
I have the AD08s on mine. When I spoke to a guy at Demon Tweeks about them, he said there are very few differences between the two. AD08rs are the current model, AD08s are now discontinued.
 
just put some ad08r's on the back of my 9, early days, but they seem pretty much the same as original ad08's. Should be fine.
