hi guys today is turning into one of those days. So have issues with timing but have now discovered another problem. The crank is locking up. It turns to a certain point just after bdc cylinder one and then stops. It doesn't seem to be caused by contact with valves as with the belt off the cams can be turned freely in either direction. When I put the engine together initially it was out the car and on a stand and turned freely. It's now fitted and I was about to do the valve clearance when I noticed the timing marks wernt correct so started to re time it. Had issues with adjustable pulleys but now sorted. It's just the crank locking I can't get my head around. Any ideas before I start pulling it apart?
