You running the standard 262mm brakes?

Think the calipers vary slightly from the UK Civics (EG6/EK4) that have 262mm brakes but the rebuild kit may possibly be the same?

You thought of upgrading to 282mm calipers though? Especially since you look like you go on track

Hi mate,

The caliper kit for the front 262mm brakes are NOT the same as the EK4. The 96 spec came with bigger pistions than the EK4 so the kit won't fit.

We can get the rebuild kit for you if you like.

I knew someone around here will know whats up. I remembered that its not exacly same as EK4 ones.
It would be smashing if You could sell me set for front brakes.

eg6 flex. No point atm. My discs got around 2k miles on them. And i am not sure if 282 would fit 15 inch wheels. Besides they do good job tbh. I do track like 2 times a year. And my teg is in its retirement you could say. Last year its done 1.5k miles and that got it to 100k miles total. Its been a track car in Japan so deserves a rest hehe.
I used to have B16 EG for 4 years to. Smashing car. I had 2 other civics b4 that.
My first 1986 civic 1.5 Si US import.

I now drive a crx (it's in members rides section) :)

When or if the time comes dude you can get 282's - they've fit under every 15" wheel I've ever had (and i've had a few - regas, te37's, fat 5's, enkeis, etc)

Damn i cant reply on PMs cos of 10 post thing lolz
CRX are cool but dash looks 2 old for me now :/

Tegiwa Imports ---> Im interested in 2 kits. I messaged back on main store email :).
Ps. Is Luke still around ??

thanks for info. I will see how it goes :) When i kill my brake discs i will consider upgrading to 282.

I sold someone with an ek4 some 96spec pads and they didn't fit - I always assumed they were the same

If you're interested in some dixcel pads I've got a set with plenty meat left you can have for £50 posted ;)
