Car for sale:
'92 Black EG4 (JDM - Non-sunroof) with B18C4 engine

Mileage:
Clocks read 200k+, majority of it will have been km's, no idea if it's the original clocks though, so would take that with a pinch of salt. was told the engine came out of a car with less than 60k on it, which is believable when hearing it running (very quiet etc).
I have a folder of reciepts from the life of the car. Absolutely shed loads of stuff, detailing the original engine change and various bits that have been replaced over the years (rear bushes, rear calipers etc). turns out it had a b18c6 at some point (original engine change), which is interesting.

Condition:
Mechanically, the car is sound. It flew through the MOT recently with no advisories, which is very surprising considering how it looks. The rear arches are gone completely, however it passed the MOT as it is purely cosmetic - the inner wings are fine. I have priced up new arches at £15.80+vat each, and can pass on these details to the new owner (Hadrian car panels, for reference).
The bodywork is all ropey, no panel is really straight, or scratch/dent free. It is quite horrid to look at in that respect, however as mentioned above, it is mechanically sound. That's the reason i love it.
I've recently put a new battery in, and purchased a set of skirts with extensions for it to help cover up the arches, these have yet to be fitted yet. i will throw them in with the car though ofcourse.
Large dent in drivers door and various other ones around the car. It's not a looker, but would make a very good track car, as thats why i bought it. Being a tin-top, the chassis should be integrally stiffer.
Underneath the chassis rails are spot on, as is the floor pan, considering it's a JDM model. it's the bodywork that lets it down, or makes it such a sleeper, more to the point.
The car drives fine, starts and runs (when the battery is charged :p) and revs perfectly. I drove it back on the motorway after buying it and was VERY surprised how good it drives. Everyone who's driven it has said the same. Mechanically sound, visually a minger. Thats why its awesome.

The car details are as follows:-

'92 EG4 (JDM Non-sunroof) Chassis, originally an esi, in black ('ish)
6 months tax ('ish, may be about 5months now) and a full 12 months MOT
B18C4 engine from UK MB6 with 5sp manual LSD box
P73 ECU from JDM integra SI/SIR/SIR-G
Front VTI (or something similar) lip - looks nice
Lowered on what looks like progressive springs of some sort, haven't had the wheels off yet to check specifically what it is. It is quite low however, about 60mm lowered than stock i would say, doesn't scrape on speed bumps etc, handles very nicely
5Zigen miracle fireball (i think) exhaust - Small cat still fitted i believe, it is tiny though, may have been drilled out, 40quid decat from used section here would sort that out though
'Iceman' hard intake system, kind of like the J's whalecock things, but not shaped like a whalecock :p
ABS and Air-con removed, fragments still remaining, so a little more could come out if required
Original jdm single-stalk seats, very comfy actually, probably not ideal for track work (i bought a bride bucket to throw in, as i was going to track it)
Front and rear discs - rear discs are grooved/dotted. could probably do with new pads soon, these aren't exactly expensive though
Has some vile 'm3' type mirrors (with indicators wired in), but the original mirrors are rolling around in the boot tray so can be refitted, which i was planning (these are electric ofcourse)
15" OZ Polaris (i think) wheels, in black, with Yokohama Parada Spec-2's all round. these have a few mm of tread, prob about 2-3mm, would last a few k's anyway.

There are no knocks, bangs or rattles when driving the car, other than all the **** rolling around in the boot tray. Is has the original fold up tray and cover for hiding stuff in, which as i said at the minute is just filled with random bits that have come with the car, such as generic bolts etc.
I bought the car to make it a track car. I've spent the money getting it MOT'd, and am now selling it on at what it's cost me so someone else can make use out of it.

It does have a clifford alarm/immobiliser fitted, and remote central locking. This is very temperamental however, the immobiliser works spot on, but the rest hit or miss, much like most clifford systems. The remote central locking would probably work better if the dent in the door was pushed out, i havent had the time to do this though.

I have recently been offered a job in london (i live in bristol), so i'll be needing to move. this may or may not be going ahead yet, if it does then the car will be for sale, as i cannot leave it at home - it wont get used (i have a vw bora for commuting). If someone wants it now then they can have it, i'm just in no massive rush until i have a confirmed job offer.

Im only after what it owes me. The car can be driven away, starts and runs fine. It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, and will probabably need small things doing. i've taken this into account in the price.

Modifications:

See above.

Location:

Bristol

Pictures:

I have some from the original purchase, but will get some of my own when i get to see it in the daylight (i work 9-6 so this might not be possible until the weekend, they will be taken though).

Price:

£1500 drives it away, with 12months MOT, 5-6months tax and any spares i have with it. i think it has fuel in it also, which is nice. my mechanic drove it around for a few days and was actually shocked that he couldnt fail it on anything, even when he tried to. There's one or two small things that need sorting, i've listed most of it, might have forgotten some stuff, but it is what it is, a mechanically sound, visually minging black eg.

Give me an email on ecksjay@gmail.com or pm me with queries. I don't want people coming around telling me it's not a looker - i'm quite aware of this. There's many people who can appreciate it for what it is (a cheap eg that would make an awesome little track motor), so please don't waste my time thinking it's a show queen. Pics will be up soon.
