Hi all. ive worked for honda for seven years and finally i own a honda! And a very nice clean original one at that.
its a completly standard civic coupe and tbh plan to keep it that way with maybe a few suttle mods. let me no what you guys think. negative comments welcome aswell. brilliant forum btw :))

Funny you should mention that lads! Im 50/50 on the mud flaps. I would like a few more opinions on that. Ordered a jdm size plate today for the rear i think they look awsome! im considering a whales p***s (for the noise) other than that gona keep it oem.
 
IMO the side skirts and type r lip and mud flaps don't go together! One of de first things I did with my SiR was whip them off! This is one of those things you either like or done like!

Whip them off, see if u like it, if u don't, throw them back on
 
I say keep the mudflaps on, I love mudflaps and looks good once lowered a little bit more.
Welcome to the site and congrats on owning your first Honda, they get very addictive, I have a slight obsession with them, ha.

Is the car just for daily or a bit of fun? If for fun you should consider some suspension changes. Get yourself track ready ;)
 
Cheers for the comments lads! Im gona take a few more pics when the weathers ok and il stick them on here. The one ive put up is pretty rubbish. Im gona wip the mudflaps off for a while see what i think. I think your write about the lowering. It would look ten times better but i use it everyday so i doudt il ever do it.
 
I think your write brady-dc2! But dont no if i will. Early days yet. Maybe something for the future.
 
whats the reg mate, i had one of them a few years ago, was standard and low miles but ive not seen mine since, i think it was a w plate
 
Its a v plate. Its so clean! Two owners from new. Both lady owners the lady i bought it off was 67!! Garaged most of its life. Only got 43k on it!! There cant be many in the country in this condition because i no for a fact honda didnt sell many of these over here. This is the main reason im abit on the fence with changing anything on it. Would seem a shame to mess with it.
 
Welcome to the forum bud, nice clean example you have there. Lowered on some black slips with a mugen front lip, type r grill would look well, and take the mudflaps off :)
 
Yea that would look realy nice spudski! Some of the examples of em1'S on this forum look aswome! When there slammed on a nice set of jdm wheels also with no spoiler they look so so good.

Cheers guys! Im a technician gemma. Not gona say which dealer though nothing personnal just good practice on forums i reckon
