was just wondering if anyone could tell me if 205/50/r15 tyres will fit on the civic vti rims, they currently got 195/50/r15's on but looking for a little extra traction, and what are the best road tyres to be running on i heard eagle f1 but i dunno,

Thanks

Good well thats good news, what about Yokohama a048's or are they are a par with toyos r888's?

for the road why waste your money on track tyres?!! if you plan on tracking get a set of track wheels and put r888's on them for the road get toyo proxies/pardas cheap on cameskills and are fine for the road!!! up to you of course just think r888 are a waste on the road really

A048's are better, although R888 can cope with water better. A048 are a slightly harder compound and can handle heat better so don't go off as quick, although this statement only applies to track use really tbh where they are getting a constant pounding

What spec is your engine? Must be pretty wild if 195's can't handle the power...............

195/50/15 tyres are spot on for most applications, lack of grip can come from poor suspension setup/geometry, worn bushes, worn engine mounts etc etc

10mm more rubber per side isn't going to make a MASSIVE difference
