as above will upgrading to a 2.5" exhaust system on my Jordan b16a2 make a differance or will i loose power down in the low rpm's.

Thanks bud, Im getting mixed opinion's so not sure what to do.

It will reduce you back pressure, in turn leading to easier breathing of engine! There are rumour of reduced low down torque but I from personal experience have never experienced this

A lot of folk that complain about loss in low down torque haven't fitted the exhaust correctly and as a result the exhaust blows and power drops/fuel consumption increases.
Speaking through experience.

no power loss.
back pressure is the reason you lose power always add and a header the true reason you make power from an all motor honda is the header not the cat back exhaust itshelf.
consider the exhaust system is header cat or decat and cat back piping.

So 2.5 will be a good upgrade then and i wont loose power? i will just gain.

correct. youll never loose power by upgrading your exhaust to 2.5 mate. my jordan has 2.5 manifold and decat onto 2.25 cat back and was making 172 bhp and if i change to full 2.5 ill make more. who ever is telling you youll loose power slap them lol

haha cheers bud, Take it you have an adjustable decat?

Yeah it was a few people on another forum bud so didn't want to fork out money on a 2.5 system and then loose power down low.
