The ITR DB8 was finally tuned and dyno'd. The specs are above in a previous post. Made 215/136 to the wheels on pump 93. I think maybe playing around with intakes and cam gears (currently set at 0,0) can net a few more HP. I have a video but can't figure how to post as it's a large file...

    OHLINS suspension.

You asking how low Ohlins go? From what I know they can go pretty low (as with most coilovers) but when I think of Ohlins I think gold standard in performance with road comfort in mind. The right balance.

Small update on the DB8 R (pictured) . Getting close to starting up and to the dyno for tuning. Will post a video. EK9-still collecting parts to do the next refresh. Oil pan, brake calipers all around, now looking at doing the clutch with Exedy (oem) and a Spoon flywheel . Any one using this...

    Civic EE9 build/restoration, B16B soon

    Civic EE9 build/restoration, B16B soon

I'm in the states and typically use Black Hawk Japan for almost all my oem and aftermarket parts. Best prices and shipping is pretty decent even compared to buying the same parts locally. Just an fyi if you're not already using someone specific when ordering from Japan.

    Determining build date

Hey Magnus, Did you buy it from the person who had it originally imported? If so, they should have the importation paper work stating the month/year it was manufactured. Or trying running the chassis # on carvx which is japans carfax. Link below. Since I bought mine while it was still in Japan...

Small update on the ek9. Pulled the Fujitsubo header off and threw on a PLM Toda rep I've had brand new in box for a few years. While it was nice having the Fujitsubo header match the Fujitsubo catback... the PLM is slightly larger throughout the design and seems to have a better flow. Butt dyno...

It's funny you say that. lol. I own a ITR DB8 as well and even with a little over 5100 ever made there are 3-4 of them local to me lol. Any forbidden fruit (JDM or EDM) cars, there will be a high demand in the states once they are legal.

I'm excited for sure to see how the Spec B cams rev out. I was torn between the Spec A2s and Bs but most Honda Tech post from the mid 2000s (:))) suggested the Bs being the best among Toda users. And not many folks doing these "nostalgia" builds going all Toda anymore.

TY! Living out my younger dreams of doing a full Toda build. I've come across a few builds with very similar specs make 220-230 to the wheels. The spec B cams love compression so that may be my limiting factor. I should be close to 12CR which is around the sweet spot. I'm super excited. Will...

    EK9 Rolling Restoration

Thanks for sharing! Always good to see these being saved. JDMOhio here in the states usually has some smaller parts, I'd check them out. https://jdmohiodirect.com/jdm-96-00-civic-ek
