    EG9 Build

Always been a big fan of the eg9s, it was the first vtec civic I ever had a spin in so they always seemed special to me. Yeah it has ek9 hubs and brakes, some difference over the std vti brakes especially with the braided lines

    Standard Cams Degree values

Hi, Need to zero my B18 Type R cams after getting head/block decked can anyone shed some light on the Honda specs for the degrees BTDC /ATDC where the center line/max lift of the cams should be I've been through the honda service manual and found nothing, the thing is massive tho so might have...

B16 Stroker Kit - What pistons to use

I never specified I will be going with the Tuner series cams if that makes a difference. I would have thought that a good tuner could adjust the cam timing to to find the sweet spot relatively easily so long as there is sufficient piston/valve clearance? I'll be honest, I haven't boosted a...

B16 Stroker Kit - What pistons to use

Yeah I'll be going with skunk2 stage 2 cams and valve train, port and polish and get a 3 angle valve job done. In the future (if it's less of a daily) I might throw a bit of low boost at it with a td05 but be keeping it decently high compression, see how it takes to that, ha! That's a good...

B16 Stroker Kit - What pistons to use

Yeah that's where I'm at too. Think I will just just get a b18 piston put on a rod to try it out and go from there. I'm sure the machine shop will be able to spec the Pistons if not Cheers for the reply anyway!

B16 Stroker Kit - What pistons to use

These are pretty much the best specs I can get on the crank(posted below) - the stroke is 84.709mm I looked up the part number for the rods just don't have it handy to double check at the time and it came back as just the standard length rods The kit normally comes with JE forged pistons when...

B16 Stroker Kit - What pistons to use

Hi, I have bought a used Eagle Stroker kit for my b16a2, I got it pretty cheap with the Forged Crank, Rods and new Acl race bearings. The kit is just missing pistons and I have no clue of the pistons specs I need to get made as I don't think the kit works with standard pistons (rods are standard...

I'm in the process of building a super clean EG9 B18C, fully flused bay, wire tuck, rad tuck fuel line and brake tuck, and that's only the tip of the ice berg, all work done by myself and my friend so far, but now it's in the hands of a painter, will post up photo when the build is finished.
