Well I did a compression test and I got 235 240 240 235. Did that with the engine at operating temp, throttle open and fuel injectors disconnected and cranked over 7 times. Not sure why the readings are so high the gauge seems fine. The readings are all similar so rings are fine :/ I checked...

Well I cleaned the o2 sensor, checked the vtec wiring and the dizzy wiring and now thats all good. The only code is now 14 for IACV and I think its cause I may have damaged the pin that goes into the ecu plug :/

Okay got it to run by switching the d16z6 distributor internal with my old d14z2 (not as hard as I thought it would be) and runs okayish. Main problem is the idle is iradic between 1500rpm and 2000rpm (even in gears, it shakes the car) its fine everywhere else in the Rev range and vtec works...
