I had the same issue. Replaced the input shaft bearing and now there's no sound anymore. If you haven't fixed it, and plan to DIY as I did, these are the two parts you need. Seal and bearing.

Yeah I think, if you are using k series axles then you would swap the outer joints to fit onto the civic. And vice versa .. Anyways, found a cheap shipping route so I'll be getting axles from ktuned. Does anyone know if the intermediate shaft is included with the axles from ktuned/hybrid racing ?
