I imagine those TDi prices are well out of date. If they had to import a new one for you now I severely doubt you'll get it for 630, those were the good old days. Poor exchange rate has messed everything up. Just look at how much ARP bolts have gone up over the last few months.

Agree on that one, but he's getting his head inflated by those around him no doubt. He needs to dominate the UK first before being taken seriously on the world stage imo. But I keep forgetting it's all about money and obviously the promoters think they can make more dough going down this route.

That's unforgiveable. I'd be pissed off if some 'extra pipe' had been left on a cheapo manifold, nevermind an expensive one. Spoon and HKS might be good for some things, but completely pants for others. Spoon braces for example, terrible design - I prefer to stick to OEM than waste money on...

You're right about compromising Honda reliability once you start trying to improve on an already well tuned reliable engine. I guess I just need to keep regular checks like yourself.

Has anyone used oem or Crower steel retainers with aftermarket valve springs? I don't want to use titanium as it's my daily driver and I do a lot of miles.
