Lets see if we have the same problem. Mine was that the mounts for the "standing" part of the seat dint look at all as they did on my LHD EK4. Still with me? If so i figured that the mounts would fit if i used the hardware from my EK4 seats (the metall frame basicly) so i toke both seats apart...

I also found a problem when i tried to install EK9 rear seats in me EK4 LHD I dont know if there is a better way but i used the metal parts from my old seat and the rest from the EK9.

When the harness for the engine and the one for hedlights and everything else in the front was done i still had the ugly orange ones for the ABS left. The wires for the wiper motor also went in to the bay and the up to the motor, made a new hole right down into the car
