Hi. I have a b18c4 Uk engine (b18c1 gsr US). Fitting a skunk manifold and ordered a chipped U.s pr4 ecu to run with the manifold.
The ecu is now the same spec as the p28 but with a socketed chip.
However the car is throwing the code 20 ELD/ Electronic load detector.

Just make sure you don't mix pink anti freeze (german cars usually run this) with blue. This will create an acidic mix that can be harmful to the internals of your engine.
Hi blinx. Being a mechanic i have seen this problem a few times. If it not the thrust bearing it is usually the spigot bearing on the flywheel. Chinese bearings in my experience are not usually good quality by not being perfectly spherical.
I had similar problems with my engine conversion. Had no spark. Ended up being the immobiliser so had to buy the ignition barrel, key and immobiliser control box. The ecu needs a specific code in order to start from the immobiliser control box.

Says in the haynes manual 33Nm. They don't need to be really tight. I usually do them to 30Nm. The important ones are the caliper carrier bracket bolts( ones which bolt to the hub).
i took the rear discs from mg zr 160 or mg zs180. Rear caliper carriers and rear calipers.
There is a complete new conversion if you look on ebay under mg ("MG ZR 160 AND ZS 2.5 COMPLETE 260 MM REAR BRAKE KIT").
These are a direct fit i installed them myself easy peezie. Same with the fronts...
Hi steven. I have ordered the si prop valve. However it looks exactly the same as the ej9 prop valve. Does this mean they are different internally. Did the one you order for your ek9 non- abs conversion look the same as your old ek9 one but with 6 holes instead of 4?

Hi i sprayed my ek4 myself in halford matt black!!! Worked in a body shop before. Used a finisher spray and also a light dusting with the matt black to ensure an even top layer. looks amazing. due to no laquer you can get away with an factory looking paint job. i will upload photos soon.

Just ordered the civic si prop valve. It looks exactly the same externally as the ej9 prop valve with rear drums.
Can anyone confirm they are different internally?
