    re-registering an ek9 as an ej9?

yes thats what im saying, i live in a "posh" area where insurance should be cheap. £5.5k insurance is not cheap. anything over £2k is not cheap. im with hughes atm, ej9 costs £2500 in feb now its only £1500 why? anyway, itll probably be cheaper to completely convert an ej9 into an ek9 and...

    re-registering an ek9 as an ej9?

Yeah it should be worth it, only takes a few mins to fill out the v5 form and send it away. Insurance is always ****ing me over, so might as well try to bend the rules a wee bit!

    re-registering an ek9 as an ej9?

Oh I know, sounds silly but its extra incentive not to crash. Plus I wouldn't be doing anything silly, as I don't want to be classed as a boy racer! Also I'm 21 and the police have changed the law recently to 25 from 21 to be able to have 3rd party extension.

    re-registering an ek9 as an ej9?

I know but there's a really clean ek9 for sale locally! It's just an idea anyways, same idea how glanzas are registered as a 1.3 NA when imported over

    re-registering an ek9 as an ej9?

thinking of buying an ek9 and changing the details and sending it off to dva basically change the engine cc to 1394cc and leaving the rest the same so when i go to insure it, it'll come up as a 1.4 on the insurance companies database. this way it'll become a 1.4 import. anyone try this...
