Custom door cards?

Any one make up some custom door cards for your civic? Looking for some ideas
 
Fibreglass is easy stuff to work with once your used to it, what do you want them to do which oem cards cant?

Was thinking maybe PVC plastic and maybe wrap it in carbon fibre and mount the windows switches and door handle in as well
 
Sorry to say this but its kinda pointless really? You plan to ditch oem doorcards to save perhaps 600 odd grams per side?

I would cut out the metal skin underneath the cards, ditch switches/locks and the crash bar which runs across the door, then get some plastic windows.
 
I'm guessing he'll have door bars on the roll cage for time attack.
Door cards don't fit once there are door bars in the way, we'll mind didn't anyway.
I just chopped my doorcards in half so only above the arm rest is there..

The same as mine, they didn't fit once the cage went in so I just sold the cards and I've left it as that.

Next plan to to remove the skin on the inside of the door, remove the crash bar within the door and cover it with a carbon sheet. Most, if not all scrutineers wont allow any holes/gaps where your arms can get stuck in the event of a accident
