Debating Selling

About to get an M3 then everyone else wants one fuark this!

The m3 does seem to be a popular choice lol. Think dc5 may be an option but think I want something a little quicker and from what I hear they don't handle that well?

Thanks for the suggestions guys :)

Suppose if worst came to worst would have to get Dunx to helpe import one lol should be expensive :(

If i ever sold my ek9 i would get a dc5 or an evo next stick to jap awesome cars

My mates 1.8 turbo golf modded quite abit pritty shifty but feels really heavy though n m3 aint that fast anyways i had a go aint 1 n cudnt pull would love to have a go now with my b18cr lol

Assuming you drive a Honda, why should that bother you? Civic's are like belly buttons!

It dosn't really tbh, civics are too common or hondas in general might just get a Q7 instead

keep it and buy a cheep b series or something that you can have as a daily/track car

Lol, an m3 that couldn't pull on a b16b? Unless it was a e30 m3?

A good e46 m3 would destroy a b16 or b18 ek

Or... if you want something really rare.. Nissan Stagea with R34 front end. But as my original reply says, I think a B5 RS4 or an Evo would be a good choice too.

try some test drive on other cars first, then u can decide if you really want to sell or not your 9 ;)

Agreed, Whilst the EK9 is a good car. The E46 M3 is in a different league. Miles ahead.

Put simply, you werent driving it right. :nice:

Must admit the m3 is a tempting prospect.
E46 Still alittle expensive for me ATM.

I as debating weather to sell my 9 as I wanted something different but I then turbo charged it and it is the best thing I have ever done. Cheaper than buying a new car and would be much quicker than most. I still get 35MPG driving normal and I get 300 miles to a tank with mixed driving.

Best of both worlds I think. Owned the 9 since early 2009 and I won't be getting rid of her for a long time yet.

Just another option for you ;-)

You will need to sell it because if you do not sell it, you will never experience what missing something "really" means.

then you will buy another putting more money into your local economy generating economic growth for your town/city/country which will fuel corruption and more laws that do not need to become law.

SELL IT!

Wow seems to have turned into a bit of a debate.

I think give it a couple weeks to see what's about then you will probably see a for sale thread.

Did think about turbo but the car is completely standard so seems a little out of sync. I never planned on modding it, just using it and keeping it shiney.

I Do like dc5's and s2000 so think they'll be in the test list. Possibly an evo maybe 8?

:)

It's funny how for an ek9 forum ppl tell you to sell it lol but I get what they mean!

I've always old myself to buy an ek9 as my second car as I had am ek3. But after two years I ended up buying a dc5 and love it. Although mines had big spec, standard dc5 is comfy! Big car too and alot of space compared to a 9. Just depends what you use the car for at the end of the day. I like the dc5 as its comfy and has 6 gears which is what I need as I do alot of motorway driving which is why I opted for that instead of the 9. Only thing I dislike about the dc5 is k20 parts are expensive!
