£8000 for a pre-facelift EK9

The EK9 is a facelift

I think they are asking too much money for it on that mileage even though it is very clean

just a little too expensive i think, but if we all start selling them at that price then the value might go up :p

personally, i think its priced fine and it's a facelift.
How many are left in this condition?

As said price is maybe a little steep.
In the long run they are only going up.
Nice ones in Japan are north of £7k so you aren't going to get one cheaper.

looks very very clean! i got my ek9 of them, and was telling me that he had this one on its way over and has to sell for that because of the price they paid for it! top fellas there though!

It's iconic shame There all left hand drive, we'll I've only ever see. Left hand drive ones

yup all LHD! Lancia and their wisdom decided to make them all that way, and the car before it they made all RHD... lolz

I think it's quite a bit too steep, hence the reason it has sat there for nearly a year.

I'd rather have the RX-7 Type R for the same price tbh.

That car has been forsale for sometime! Maybe it will be snapped up someday lol. One of those cars that should just be kept stock and clean IMO.

It cant be just 9's that are expensive over there, 10995 for an 02 nissan elgrand! Crazy

Running costs on the rx7 would be crazy though compared to the civic. You'd always be thinking when something's going to go wrong so you wouldn't get the same enjoyment.

I can't see them getting anywhere near 8k for it. The EK9 market is in decline, the cars are getting cheaper. It would have been a tough sell to get 8k for it 3-5 years ago, let alone now.

Like it or not, the recession has driven the prices of them down in Ireland and that influences the market over here.

Also, I think it's a while off yet where the nice tidy ones will become appreciating assets. Need the chavvy base models to die out before that will happen.

I disagree.
Look at ef9s, they have suddenly gone through the roof.
And as said ek9s are already climbing in Japan,
It's just Ireland where they are suffering.
They still change hands here for £5k+ for really nice ones.
