Seargant Japan rear lip diffuser


Do you think making a version for a 2000 coupe be possible? If so I would sign up today.

no it isnt stephen G

i am trying to get in contact with seargant japan to buy this lip

we can then make a mould from the genuine article which would mean it would be a better copy

it will also cut down on development time and issues

seeing as every one has different exhausts id say you will need to cut a hole for your exhaust to exit at but for a bodyshop this is not hard at all
 
Perhaps get a deposit from everyone that wants one dude, helps out with your initial outlay costs and gives a fair guarantee that they will buy the end product.

If you can ball park it based on the mould then perhaps give a 10% discount to those that helped out with the outlay??/ Just a thought!
 
Im definatly interested although I would be worried about quility of fitment?
 
i have gotten in contact with sergeant and have been priced for the lip

id imagine it will take about two weeks for delivery

the mould will be made asap and we can finally get some clear cut prices for you guys
 
ill be interested in this too lee, get it up on hh aswel you might see a bit of interest
 
been talking to sergeant and the piece has to made as they dont stock any

they say it will take a month for it to be made and 7-10 days for shipping

timescale may be exaggerated

the actual genuine lip is costing near 1k euro without paying import taxes and vat
 
So your looking at £1300 for a bumper. Basically.

If you can copy it for £400 then you'll need to sell them at £500 and sell 13 to get your money back.

I'd love to be able to get one but unless you n your mate have some serious wedge or do like I said in the post previous then your gunna struggle to make it happen.
 
What about maybe getting firas' difuser and seeing if you can make it work that way? Or failing that, get a universal one and fiddle around with it.

It's gunna cost you in labour time but saves the initial outlay

They will not cost more than 400 pound to sell lad

I can't give any prices yet but I'd be hoping for them to be between 300-500 euro

That is about the best estimate I can give at this time

The interest is there so they will be made

If everyone would like to ad there name to the list I can pm you guys directly when I get more information

Not looking for a buyer list just yet just a list of people interested

Anyone that has expressed interest in the thread already will be added to my list
 
I'd certainly be interested in the future, got more pressing issues to fix on the car at present though. :(
