"You know when you own an EJ9, EK9 when.."

Everything that has been said in this thread is so damn true, especially the bit about tunnels, I absolutely love dropping into third and screaming through the Conwy tunnel all the way up to 8,500rpm, it's music to my ears :D
Plus I love the when you get to the top of one gear, change up and the fun starts all over again. My Civic's turned into a bit of a money pit and has cost me a lot seeing as I bought a bit of a lemon, but I still absolutely adore it.

-you just want to spend all your money in every little thing for your civic

-you do and oil change, it still leaks in ur driveway

-you take cel pics of shady cars licenses plates parked next to you

-you pay $4600 for the car and you put $16,000 into it.

-your g/f tells you that she loves your car but she cant stand the hard suspension

-you tell your mates " i would have had him if i were in Vtec"

-you got more pics of your ek than your gf on your phone

idiot fanboys post up threads like this. making you want to sell up and get another car...

Hell no mate.. I love this car and i will always love it. These are just same facts i think that everyone here know them and they still want their ej or ek9!

Should add..

When people slam the doors you have a massive rant at them!

Its really hard to drive in RHD car if you are used to a LHD one

Well I've driven it now for some 300 miles and I'm mostly used to it, only parking takes some extra effort and fast shifting is something I can't in my DC2 :p

You will get used to it soon

Some more
-you sleep with one eye open looking through your window , making sure your hatch is still there

-you see the word 'sir' you think of an SiR

-the s2000 and the NSX becomes your dream cars

Haha brilliant I think this covers me, was a laugh reading through all these.

Moreee pleasee :)

-you end up spending enough money to buy you a new car on your Super "old" car

-you're driving and think to yourself "Why the hell didn't I buy a big, automatic car with a smooth ride?"... Then you crack 'tec through a couple corners and remember why

-you go to a parts store and your answer to, "And what car is this part going to be for?" is something like, "Well, it's a 1999 Honda Civic EK hatch... but it has a 2001 Integra LS engine swapped in, blah blah blah."

-your cups always fall out of that shallow ass cup holder

-you have a new set of tools and a rusty 10mm socket

-you think of doing a swap even though you already have one

-you thought of buying a new Civic but they weight too much

-everything on your car has to be oem or youre a ricer
