Looking good man:nice:. How comes you lost torque with that exhaust bro?

check this thread, all your answers will be there:

rvm nice exhuast, how much did it cost? weight? sound? so far so god :nice: i see you finally got a header  ebay huh? is it at least 2.5" at the collectors?

The cost was like 250 $ hehehe, the sound is way less than the comptech exhaust, I like it, but right now I will use the mugen one, the weight was 6 pounds hehe!

Yeah man, generic header hahahaha, yes it is a 2.5" header lol, the weight was 12 pounds against the 28 pounds of the oem one :nerv:

Nice idea with the rear bumper, slits like that look much better than what most people do, drill big holes everywhere.

dude where are you getting all this money from? roll cage seats takata harness??? thats all expensive stuff man!! also why remove the headlights? what if you race in the dark? if you dont want them you can sell them to me :)

also, do you have a second car now? cause i know this was your daily for a while right?

^Yeah?
I second that "buying rvm's type-r stuff" comment, what are you doing with you're back seats?

Remember keep us posted, any ideas that you have for making a better track car post them up! I love discussions dealing with track racing, I've read up alot on it.

Credit card! hahahaha :angry2: Yes I have another car now is a 97 ex coupe :) and the EK9 is only for track now

2250 pounds :(

thats not bad, same as mine :nice: have your removed your windshield washer fluid? how about the AC core behind the glovebox? i also only have 3 engine mounts, i removed the torque mounts cause they dont do anything and always crack! (use urethane bushings thouhg if you plan to remove the tq mounts). im sure there is more weight to be saved :) serisously though, what are you doing with your old headlights?

Track car only? How about- FAL or other lexan rear quarter and hatch windows? Just take care not to scratch them, and you'll save some serious weight.
New wheels and tires will gain response, accelleration, and grip, and save unsprung weight (the best to save).
Just throwing some ideas out.

All the type r parts where thrown away :)
